ABU DHABI – Warner Bros. World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi is bringing the world of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains to Middle East Film & Comic Con, with fans invited to choose between Superman and his legendary nemesis Lex Luthor.

The three-day event is taking place until 13 September 2026 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. The theme park’s stand will transform into a slice of Metropolis, offering interactive challenges, character appearances, competitions and exclusive offers inspired by the park’s latest attraction, Kryptonite Collider.

The experience is centred on the latest Superman and Lex Luthor rivalry, following the launch of Kryptonite Collider at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi this summer. Fans attending Comic Con can step into the action while exploring activities linked to the high-energy attraction.

DC showdown

Opened in July 2026, Kryptonite Collider takes guests into Lex Luthor’s Everyman Project, a fictional scheme designed to unlock superhuman abilities in ordinary people while challenging Superman’s extraordinary powers.

The centrifuge-style thrill ride accommodates 32 guests and spins them through an intense confrontation between the iconic DC Super Hero and Super-Villain. The attraction forms part of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi’s growing line-up of immersive experiences based on popular Warner Bros. characters.

At Comic Con, visitors can participate in activities and competitions at the Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi stand and through the theme park’s social media channels, with prizes available throughout the event.

Meet the stars

Character appearances are also among the highlights, with Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, Superman, Batman and Harley Quinn set to meet fans. The appearances offer visitors opportunities to take photographs with some of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi’s most recognisable characters.

Comic Con attendees can also take advantage of an exclusive offer running throughout the three-day event. Visitors can receive 25% off Silver and Gold Yas Annual Passes, providing year-round access to Yas Island’s major theme parks.

The passes include access to Ferrari World Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. World™ Yas Island, Abu Dhabi and SeaWorld® Yas Island, Abu Dhabi. Passholders can also receive benefits including savings on selected in-park shopping and dining, early access and special offers for Yas Island events, as well as deals at participating Yas Island hotels and restaurants.
